How
does the plan work?
You, the author, pay for the publication of your book. The amount varies
with each manuscript depending upon length and other factors which contribute to
production costs. In return for the fee you pay, we publish your book and you receive 40%
of the retail price of every book sold at standard discounts. (The average bookseller gets
40% of the retail price and Vantage Press receives 20%.) |

You are not required to make any further financial outlay.
Nor are you required or obligated to purchase or sell any of your own books. If demand for
your book warrants subsequent printings, they are issued entirely at our expense.
What is our part in this arrangement?
Vantage Press brings out an attractive edition of your book, comparable
in quality and appearance with many found in bookstores throughout the country. In
addition, we execute the promotion program that is outlined in your contract. |

across the country. These books go to newspapers, magazines, and radio and television
