 | We send sample copies of your book to local bookstores, and special letters to
local libraries, suggesting they order your book.
|
 | We contact organizations that may be interested in purchasing copies of your
book.
|
 | We issue an annual catalog in which your book is described; this catalog goes to
bookstores and libraries all over the nation.
|
 | We submit your book for listing in the standard trade publications such as Books
in Print and Publishers Trade List Annual.
|
 | When it is practical, and if you consent, we try to arrange autograph parties.
When you have your own ideas for promoting the sale of your book, we welcome them and may
utilize them, such as in preparing circulars for your personal lists, and in approaching
members of your club, church, lodge, fraternity, or other groups that may help the sale of
your book.
|
|
 | When suitable, your book is called to the attention of educators, journalists,
columnists, scholars, government officials, and other molders of public opinion. |
For all these professional services, our fees are considered fair and
reasonable, as evidenced by the fact that we publish hundreds of new books each year.
But please be realistic. Most books by new authors do not sell well, and most
authors do not regain the publishing fee. |
