Promotion and Distribution
With printing, your book is completed. The first copy is delivered to you.
Your free copies follow directly, while the balance of the run is stored at Ingram Publisher Services to
be made available for orders from wholesalers, booksellers, libraries, and individuals.
Even before publication, we will have coordinated special publicity and promotion opportunities with you.
Now, with the physical book in hand, we begin to actively promote your book.
We promote your book on many fronts:
Please note that each of our press communications offers bookstores co-operative advertising and event support of up to $200 per event or
placement – an expense that Vantage pays in each case.
The Vantage Publicity Department also prepares a special "circular" for your book which we mail to your personal list of friends and family, church members,
business associates – up to five hundred individuals and businesses identified by you. We have found that these circulars effectively stimulate sales.
Orders for your book can be placed directly with Vantage or via Ingram's Publisher Services. IPS fulfills all orders and accepts payment on account or via credit card.
Piggybacking on Ingram"s wholesale operation, IPS ships to most bookstores every day and ships essentially all orders within 48 hours. All Vantage Press books are
made available to the book trade on industry standard consignment terms.
Under the Vantage program, there is never a supplemental charge to our authors for reprints, no matter how many copies are sold.
“Being a new author, the experiences I encountered along the way with travel, television and radio interviews, and book signings, were phenomenal! I thank Vantage Press for giving me the opportunity to become an author!”
